With a therapeutic approach to counselling, CBT has currently great popularity in organisations such as the NHS.

This is a talking therapy that can help you manage your problems by changing the way you think and behave.

Working together, we apply CBT techniques and strategies to challenge negative thought patterns. I'll help you to discover your automatic thoughts, the beliefs you draw from them and the resulting negative emotions and behaviour. We will then reframe these thoughts in a more positive and rational way. You will learn skills to take away and continue to use. 

CBT is often used to work with issues of depression, anxiety, fears, phobias and anger.

EFT
Emotional Freedom Techniques

This is also a talking therapy. It incorporates tapping with fingertips on meridian acupressure points whilst repeating statements surrounding the negative thinking that is causing emotional pain. Again, I help you to discover a more rational and balanced way of thinking, with the use of EFT.

This can also be used to help physical pain and restricted range of movement owing to the body - mind connection.
